The Expert Panel

The CAC panel is drawn from the most senior ranks of the legal, accounting, engineering, and financial professions in Zimbabwe and the region. Every appointment is governed by the IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest.

About Our Panel

Quality You Can Trust

The quality of the arbitral tribunal is the single most important factor in the outcome of any arbitration. The CAC has built its panel around three principles: deep subject-matter expertise, genuine independence from all parties, and commitment to efficient, well-reasoned decision-making.

Our panel spans three specialist tiers — Senior (former judges and Senior Counsel), Commercial (leading practitioners and chartered professionals), and Technical (engineers, quantity surveyors, accountants, and IT specialists). Parties may nominate their preferred panel members when lodging a claim, subject to the CAC's conflict of interest clearance process.

Senior Panel — Judicial & Silk

The Senior Panel comprises retired judges of the Supreme Court and High Court of Zimbabwe, Senior Counsel, and internationally experienced advocates with the depth and authority to manage complex, high-value commercial disputes.
